What is the difference of Jakarta today with Jakarta in the past?

Jakarta began from a small port at the mouth of Ciliwung River about 500 years ago.Over the centuries this port city developed become a crowded center of international trade. In the 16th century, European writers mentioned a town called Kalapa, which became the main airport for a Hindu kingdom, Named Sunda, Pajajaran its capital, which is located about 40 miles inland, nearby city of Bogor today. Then the Portuguese attacked by a young man named Fatahillah. Fatahillah change the name Sunda Kalapa became Jayakarta on June 22, 1527. This date is usually celebrated as birthday of the Jakarta.

The Dutch came in the end of 16th century and then they mastered Jayakarta. Jayakarta name was changed to Batavia. The natural state in the Batavia swampy like in the Netherlands, their homeland. And during the Japanese occupation (1942-1945),Batavia name changed again became Jakarta. On August 17, 1945 Ir. Sukarno read the Proclamation of Independence of Indonesia in Jakarta and Sang Osaka Mariah Putih for the first time flown. And In 1966, Jakarta became the capital of the of Republic Indonesia. Since 1966, Jakarta developed quickly became a modern metropolis.Cultural wealth follows the dynamic growth is an important role for Jakarta became one of the leading metropolis in the 21st century.

But, what happened by Jakarta present??. Jakarta is already too crowded and noisy and economic growth and it makes Jakarta attracted millions of immigrants from other regions every year. Increasing amount of population, the greater needs for homes, markets, and also roads. As a result, the impact appears to be fatally and Disaster threatens Jakarta. We sure missed the peace and coolness of Jakarta in time past.

JAKARTA IS COMPLEX CITY

Indonesia is one of countries that has many island in the world. The capital of indonesia is in java island,exactly in west java named Jakarta. Jakarta is one of big city that has the most crowded than other city. Because many people from other city that came and wanted a job and experience in there. Surely, it’s make Jakarta become crowded city and it’s causes unsafe for our live because we’ll find rubbish and various criminal in everywhere.
As we know, rubbish is one of problems that can caused many viruses that can distrub our health. Especialy in traditional market of jakarta that was infected by rubbish, and it’s make many food contaimed by viruses that can make me poisoned. For the example in Lenteng Agung market in south Jakarta. When we’ll buy some chicken meat, there are many plastic garbages around the meat, unfortunatelly ,we should cancel buying because we can see many insects surrounded the meats. It’s not good for our body.
The criminal in our country has spread in everywhere like news in tv showed. Many cases that happened with various reason from the suspects, especialy in Jakarta. It’s unsafe for everyone who bring luxurious items, because as we know in crowded places like Jakarta it’s surely many thiefs or robbers in everywhere. In my experience when i went to station city in north Jakarta by train, i saw some thief who stealed the wallet from the pocket of passangers. Suddenly i told to my old brother that there are someone has been stealed by a thief. And my old brother said “of course,many thiefs and robbers in here, so please keep your goods”. I think it’s unsafe for everyone who want to use the facilities like in the train.
